License Activation

Learn how to obtain, activate, and manage your SecZim license.

Paid Plans

After the trial, choose a billing option based on your needs:

  • Monthly: Pay per month, cancel anytime. Pricing based on mailbox count.
  • Annual: Pay yearly and save. Pricing based on mailbox count.
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing for organizations with 5,000+ accounts, ISPs, government, or public entities.

All plans include all features. The only difference is the billing cycle.

Enterprise

For large deployments (5,000+ accounts), ISPs, government agencies, or public organizations, contact us for custom Enterprise pricing at support@seczim.com

Activating During Installation

The easiest way to activate your license is during installation:

curl -sSL https://seczim.com/install.sh | sudo bash -s YOUR_LICENSE_KEY

The installer validates your license and stores it automatically.

Manual Activation

If you need to activate or change your license after installation:

# Edit the configuration file sudo nano /etc/seczim/config.yaml # Update the license_key field license_key: "YOUR_NEW_LICENSE_KEY" # Restart the service sudo systemctl restart seczim-daemon

Checking License Status

You can check your current license status in the web dashboard under Settings → License, or via command line:

sudo cat /etc/seczim/config.yaml | grep license
Automatic Validation

SecZim validates your license periodically with our servers. Ensure your server can reach licenses.seczim.com on port 443.

License Migration

If you're moving SecZim to a new server:

  1. Note your current license key from the old server
  2. Install SecZim on the new server with the same key
  3. The license will automatically transfer
Important

Each license can only be active on one server at a time. Installing on a new server will deactivate the old installation.

Renewal

Licenses renew automatically if you have an active subscription. You'll receive email notifications before expiration.

Troubleshooting

License Invalid

  • Verify the key was copied correctly (no extra spaces)
  • Check your subscription status at seczim.com
  • Ensure server can reach licenses.seczim.com:443

License Expired

  • Renew your subscription
  • Contact support if you believe this is an error
