Email Rejected

Why is my email being rejected? Find out here.

Step 1: Find the Rejection

  1. Go to Logs → Session Tracking
  2. Search for the sender or recipient email
  3. Find the entry with action "REJECT"
  4. Check the "Reason" column

Common Rejection Reasons

RBL Listed

The sender's IP is on a real-time blacklist.

  • Ask the sender to check their IP reputation
  • Or add the sender to your whitelist

Policy Match

A policy rule blocked the email.

  • Review policies in Policies
  • Adjust or disable the matching policy

Blacklisted

The sender is in your blacklist.

  • Check ACL → Blacklist
  • Remove the entry if it's a false positive

Quota Exceeded

The user exceeded their sending limit.

  • Check Quotas → Current Usage
  • Increase quota or wait for reset

Geo Blocked

The sender's country is blocked.

  • Check Geo Blocking settings
  • Add an exception if needed

Allowing the Email

To allow future emails from this sender:

  1. Go to ACL → Whitelist
  2. Add the sender email or domain
  3. Save

Still Having Issues?

Contact support@seczim.com with:

  • Sender and recipient addresses
  • Approximate date/time of rejection
  • The rejection message if available
